    The 1, 4, 5 chord have the same major tone quality. The rest are minor except for the 7th.

      These notes comprise a major chord.

      Notes in Major Pentatonic:

        No 4th or 7th note.

        Notes in the Natural Minor Key:

          Compared to major scale: the 3rd, 6th, and 7th notes are flattened.

          Chords in Minor Scale

            Same as the major scale starting in the 6th position. Compare A minor to C major.
